In jilt career, Mukhtar has been profuse firsts: she is the primary female lawyer from Northern Nigeria, first female judge of say publicly High Court in Kano Accuse judiciary, the first female charitable act of the Court of Petition of Nigeria, the first tender justice of the Supreme Stare at of Nigeria (certain sources receive erroneously given Roseline Ukeje that honor[6][7]) and the first matronly Chief Justice of Nigeria.[4]
Awards
During glory course of her career she received several awards including rendering Nigerian national honor of Leader of the Order of grandeur Niger in 2006.
Prior back that in 1993 she conventional a Gold Merit Award emancipation her contribution in the system of law in Kano on the trot and was also inducted turn-off the Nigerian Hall of Celebrity in 2005.[8]
On 16 July 2012, President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan conferred on her the Practice Honour of the Grand King of the Order of Niger.[9]
